SINOWAY Swamp Excavator

The amphibious excavator, also known as a swamp buggy or a marsh buggy, is a specially designed excavator for traveling on swamps, wetlands, soft terrain, and shallow water areas. This is possible by its unique pontoons structure and hydraulic system, which enable it to float in shallow water while performing dredging operations. The pontoons are constructed from high tensile steel and are corrosion and seawater resistant.

Main Features
Pontoons & Buoyancy: The standard chassis is replaced by large, sealed pontoons or track assemblies. These pontoons provide buoyancy, allowing the machine to float in shallow water and maintain stability on soft or unstable terrain

Low Ground Pressure: Its vast surface area distributes the weight, significantly reducing the ground pressure ratio and preventing the equipment from sinking into soft or muddy ground.

Self-propulsion: They use a heavy-duty track chain system with slippers that act as paddles to propel the machine through mud and water.

Stability System: Some models are equipped with hydraulically extendable pontoons that can be extended during operation to increase footprint and stability, or retracted for convenient transportation. When operating in deeper waters (up to 4 meters deep), vertical "pile legs" (anchor legs) can be deployed to secure the excavator to the seabed.

Modular Design: The modular pontoon system is adaptable to deep water operations and compatible with various auxiliaries. It also facilitates easy disassembly and transportation to remote or challenging locations.
